just a little update of news, little bits and pieces and dates that i keep forgetting to blog about:
::melbourne modern quilt guild:: my talk at mmqg has been rescheduled for saturday, september 8. the whole event goes from 10am to 5pm and my talk, where i'll show some examples of my quilting and share a bit on my design process, will probably be around noon. the rest of the time is devoted to sewing and chatting so if you're not already a member, join the guild, grab your machine and sign on up!
::craft victoria:: i've just been accepted as an accredited member of Craft Victoria and i'll be at the craft hatch market on september 1st from 11am to 4pm. the market is running as part of craft vic's craft cubed festival, there are a ton of great exhibitions, classes and talks happening (you can find out all the details on their website). i bought a ticket for the day long keynote event, craft and design as a career, with some amazing guest speakers (beci orpin!) - can't wait!
