dropcloth artwork launch + giveaway

last month i changed the cotton canvas drop cloth on my printing table and sat staring at the lovely array of overlapping colours and patterns, amazing combinations and overprints that you could never plan or duplicate if you tried. i have been loving the dropcloth artwork that i created for our living room with the last cloth i changed, it's just endlessly good to stare at and notice new little bits. so i got to thinking about how i could offer this latest cloth as artwork, easily for everyone and without the postage costing an absolute fortune. stretching them on a frame or canvas would look great but be bulky, delicate and costly to ship so i came up with this: little chunks of abstract art, mounted on 270gsm (300lb) textured watercolour paper and made extra secure with a sewn line around the border. stamped and numbered by hand, ready to add a bit of colour to some else's wall or shelf or pinboard. this first round is an edition of 18,  twelve larger A3 (11x17ish) prints and six A4 (8.5x11ish) prints, one of which i'm giving away here to celebrate their launch:

simply leave a comment on this post if you'd like this little piece of my printing table for yourself, i'll draw a recipient on friday, july 6th (open to anyone worldwide).

here are a couple of my favourites of the bunch,  you can see the full edition in my etsy shop.

thanks so much to everyone who entered, this giveaway is now closed. the lovely kate of captain kk was deemed the winner by ye olde random number generator. since kate lives about 3 minutes away from me, i'll hopefully be able to see it in situ in its new home so i'm a bit of a winner, too : )
