scraps, anyone?

scraps

i was going through my rather jam packed scrap containers today, looking for specific shades and tones, and realised it was a bit crazy to hoard pieces that i will probably never use. so i've got a tidy stack of scraps to give away, most have been given to me or have come to me through buying scrap packs on etsy. a range of sizes, some quite small, lots of designer prints (amy butler, alexander henry, etc), some vintage, all a bit too busy in colour and pattern for me - maybe they will work for you? leave a comment if you think you could use them, no matter where you are in the world, and i'll randomly pick someone in the next couple of days.

  21. Last night I began my first hexagon quilt. I have always wanted to try making one but have put it off because life was so busy. Life isn't busy anymore, unfortunately, and I know I've got to adapt so I sat myself down, cut a couple of hexagons and gave the process a shot. Funny thing is that the hours flew by and by the time I turned in I felt some measure of peace. Plus, I had a lovely new hexagon flower, the first for my quilt. So, long story short, I know just where I'd use your scraps! I know anyone would appreciate a new selection of scrappy goodness.

  26. Oh what a wonderful gesture! I've been sort of down lately... Unable to indulge in any fun new fabric due to some rough economic times. Scraps are actually my favorite pick-me-up as the surprise gives me something to wait giddily for! Thank you for the chance - these would become part of my scrappy Metro Link quilt.
