*i mixed my two previous dye baths in a big pot and soaked some more scraps for a couple of days, with a few hours of simmering at the start. many of these scraps were peach coloured from a previous unsuccessful orange dyeing attempt so came out a fairly uninspiring light brown BUT i put them through the wash and the colour held - pretty exciting!
