pretty
i bought myself some lovely, new, soft grey dishware and wrapped it up to leave under the tree. a fitting tribute to my new (not quite complete but functional) kitchen, i think.
lazy pajama days at home, with more ahead as both kids have come down with a nasty cold in the past 24 hours (doll by emily martin of the black apple).
bouquet of native flowers i picked up well before christmas and is still going strong.
the dining room pendant that took me forever to decide on. very, very happy with the choice, it makes me smile every time i see it and looks lovely lit up.

I can see a beautiful calming theme developing in your house, just perfect to complement the noisy joie de vivre of little ones.
ReplyDeleteOh how I LOVE your pendant light - stunning! The new dishes are lovely too - who'd have thought that Gordon Ramsey wuold have such style? ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, fabulous pendant light!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a Merry Christmas. It is a ton more fun with little kids. My toddler was waiting for Santa to drive past (the CFA take Santa in their fire truck and give out lollies) and this year he came so late, we couldn't keep her up any longer. She missed him by 20mins and we were so devastated for her! Anyway, best wishes for 2011!
