*christmas love*

how much do i love you guys??? so much that i wish i could have each and every one of you over for christmas cookies and tea. the chewy chocolate gingerbread is conveniently packed full of ginger - very good for upset tummies, so i'm told. yep, that must be why i devoured 6 of them on saturday and 4 or 5 yesterday... but really, i've been reading your messages of congratulations over and over with the biggest of secret smiles on my face, thank you all so very much for thinking of me, of us. i'm going to take a little holiday blog break, time to read, relax, sleep, and not feel bad about the lack of nice photos and productive crafting here. i hope all of you have the most wonderful of holidays, filled with your own special traditions and lots of yummy food. i might be popping into your blogs in the meantime and i'm looking forward to a nice big catch up in early january. have fun! be good! take care!

  5. Wow. What a lovely present, just in time for Christmas. Congratulations on your great news and best wishes for the next seven months. I'll be tucking into some gingerbread also - i'm nearly 12 weeks pregnant and still feeling seedy. It's all worth it though. All the best!

  6. I remember being unable to contain myself at 9 weeks -- that's when I finally told EVERYONE except my boss. He found out at 13 weeks. I kept a pregnancy blog that turned into my daughter's baby blog, which we still update regularly now that she's 19 months old. (The initial idea was to keep our faraway relatives as in the loop as possible.) It's SO much fun to look back and reflect on, b/c although time moves in slow motion while you're pregnant it goes in fast forward once the wee one is here!

  7. I survived on ginger nut biscuits for breakfast and lots of buderim ginger cordial when growing Arthur. Have a lovely Christmas and your prize is on it's way, we posted it on Monday. Take care. Natalie.
