tarrauna (or toronto sans north american accent)
the past week:
• staying and working harbourside
• loving toronto
• relishing many (MANY) a bagel
• eating much cheese popcorn
• devouring as many fresh summer berries as i can get my hands on
• great sushi all over the city but, most importantly, right across the street from my hotel
• delightfully comfortable hotel beds with crisp white sheets
• bonding with work pals
• drool worthy shopping at eaton centre
• a smattering of hard work and more to come next week
• excited anticipation for my sister to arrive tonight
• a few good onegirl ideas sketched out in random moments
too lazy to fight the humidity (there's a thunderstorm a-comin') and write a proper post but just wanted to drop in and say hi to you, bloggy friends - been missing you all a bit! i'm hitting queen street west and st lawerence market this weekend with my lovely sister so hopefully i'll have some good vintage finds to share in a couple of days. have a great weekend, y'all!

You should make your way over to Kensington Market, and find "Lettuce Knit" a fantastic yarn store. The market is a wonderfully ecclectic place, I'm sure you'll love it!
ReplyDeleteloved the eaton centre - the whole 'roots' thing still cracks me up too - I know juvenille sense of humour.
ReplyDeletenice to hear from you - hope you enjoy your "holiday" (and shopping)...
ReplyDeleteooh, one of my friends has just returned to Canada for a family holiday last week. Except I can't remember where! Bit like saying, OOh I know a John Smith from Australia, do you know him?
ReplyDeleteenjoy.
thanks for the tip, nicole!
ReplyDeletesamantha - you'd love "roots kids" even more : )
and tiel, a couple of people really HAVE asked me the "do you know... in Australia?" question - so funny!
You'd better come back! Sounds like you're getting a bit too comfy.... :)
