one in ten

many of you out there are probably aware of a little support auction happening next month called one in ten, to help out fellow blogger eireann's mom with her medical fees following her amazing recovery from an aneurysm. i'm more than happy to present two custom windsees who will be part of this great cause and on offer august 19:

teal and rose feature designer and vintage florals, gocco printed linen and a soft grey botanical print on raw silk plus each has a delightful scalloped cotton skirt. their backsides are a fuzzy vintage chenille (shown also as the backdrop) and wings are a gorgeous double damask with a subtle white on white polka dot and chrysanthemum print. they are stuffed with cuddly soft pure wool fleece and are 30cm (12") tall with a wingspan of 35cm (14"). check the one in ten blog for full details of the auction and bid high, good buddies, bid high!

    oh wow, they are so gorgeous and original! My sister keeps telling me about your fab creations and I am finally here to read all about them! I'm off to check out the auction, will be back for another visit soon!

  2. So many fine items (the Windsees are so lovely)! I went and checked some of the other goodies, and boy-oh-boy I wish I had some expendable income right now! I also looked at your Flickr and I am sooooo in love with that laptop tote and case you made ... I'm telling you right now it's the nicest set of its kind I've seen. So perfect!
