catching up::part II:: gifts

when my mom arrived she came bearing a full size suitcase full of goodies for shane and i, some from her and some from my sister along with more of my mom's old fabric stash and the most beautiful series of paintings from my good pal tony in thanks for doing his website (i'll photograph and post about them again once i get them up on a wall in our new house). there were so many fabulous things inside, even jaunty new collars for baxter from old navy (who knew they now do dog accessories? look at all the things i'm missing by not visiting home more often!) but one of my very favourites were a set of cookie cutters from NordicWare that allow you to make 3 dimensional cookies:
