argh.
angry. irritated. need to vent.
i just wasted 20 minutes trying, to no avail, to sign up for a pro flickr account so i can finally join in on the photo goodness that i've watched on the sidelines for so long and i don't know if it's because Paypal has upped their security measures or because i'm trying to pay with an australian credit card but OH MY GOD (!!!!!!), it was frustrating as hell and kept giving me the run around - your card cannot be verified, please sign up for a paypal account, which i did, a new one beacuse i can't use my canadian one anymore as my canadian visa has expired, and then for some reason the TWNETY FIVE DOLLARS was apparently over my paypal spending limit (?????????) and i had to register my banking details and now wait for two or three days while they deposit two random amounts into my account that i then have to verify with them to ensure that, yes, it is my bank account and THEN, THEN i may be able to actually pay the god damn 25 bucks required to activate my pro account.

I've done this dance, isn't it a bitch, and no humans to shoot, you just have to run with it.

ReplyDeletelara, the pro account just gives you more space and features than the free account. i just find i'm not using my free account because of the space limits. hopefully i WILL use it once i've finally paid my money!
