mornings

my favourite time of the weekend, without doubt, is saturday and sunday mornings. saturday is good tunes on jtv, coffee, a snoring puppy in my lap, reading blogs and the paper while shane cooks up a fantastic cafe style breakfast. sunday is more coffee, more snoring puppy and reviewing the house auction results from the day before. it's all so relaxing and good!

shane is away fishing with his best pal this weekend so i'm enjoying saturday morning solo, which is still quite enjoyable and will lead into a full sunshiney day of designing and sewing before hitting the town with some girls from work tonight. i spent most of last night tidying up my craft room and working on a quick and easy design for little business/credit card holders:



the buttons aren't quite sewn on yet but i'm so happy to have a little project to use up some scraps and put a dent in my button jars.
